A Time To Laugh & Play

I sooo love kids! I believe I'll always be a kid at heart. It shows a lot in my personality I believe... if you know me enough, you'd agree! I don't really take life very seriously unlike most people do. Maybe that's one reason why Frank and I click so well... we both prefer things to be as light as possible and that family should always be the top priority!

This week, I made sure to make time to attend the special day of one of my kiddie friends, Frank's niece Alanna! I've been a regular gatecrasher at Frank's house for quite some time now. I always get invited to their birthdays and seeing his family is truly a delight!

Celebrations over at Frank's place have always inspired me in my writings. I always have loads of fun in all the occasions held in their house. And for this week, the important lesson which I would like to impart to you would be the importance of "making time for people who matter" and "allowing yourself to laugh and play" no matter what age you are in!


I know that most often, we take you to new places and ideal destinations to experience new things! =) But you see, great weekends don't just happen outside the house..... If you're "game" enough to try out something extraordinary and take the time to actually "reach-out" to the very people you live with, then I'm sure staying at home can be really fun!

I have learned that the greatest gift you can give to a person is your TIME..... so I always make it a point to give time to people who matter to me. I must say, I'm one of the busiest people nowadays with all the things I'm doing so I really consider each minute very very precious. If I make time for you, it means you're special to me - consider yourself LUCKY!

That particular day, we noticed that the kids were extra "makulit" probably due to the many balloons freely bouncing around the living room. As you know, KIDS+BALLOONS=TROUBLE! lols

As Frank and I were having our videoke concert, we noticed the kids were unusually hyper (probably due to the high doses of sweets which were given to them). They were all jumping around, playing catch, hitting each other's faces, acting rowdy and laughing ever so loudly  that we ended up infected by it that we just had to join in! lols

i was having my diva moment during this time.... Frank and the kids were unstoppable!

We decided to lay down the mic and started playing with the balloons as well! Then I noticed Frank has been intentionally targeting my face and all the other kid's faces as well...... "Ah ganun ah!" This means WAR!!! Bwahahahahahaha!!

I remember telling the kids , "Ayan, tirahin natin si Angkel (this is how I call him)!" The kids responded quickly since everyone wanted to take revenge since all our faces have been bull's eyed by him! It's payback time!! lols

the enemy retaliates! hahahah we were all laughing really hard while hitting each other non-stop! Frank was sooo hilarious! No wonder his nephews and nieces adore him a lot! Such a great uncle!

This truly made my week! Looking at these photos never fail to make me laugh and remember this memorable event. I will truly cherish this memory!

How nice it is to be like a kid again! I believe we should take time to play and laugh more often! Acting silly is totally fine especially when around people you are most comfortable with! We encourage you to have as much fun as possible!

So yeah, laugh hard, play hard and enjoy every bit of it! You need it too and you know that so no more depriving yourself okies??
