| Good morning Frank! |
How would you feel to wake up with a surprise from your loved one? .... Like a well prepared breakfast be brought right into your bedroom for the both of you to savor?
It doesn't really matter what food you serve.... may it be as simple as Champorado and Tuyo/Dilis, Pan de sal with with Kape, a stack of pancakes or go for some jam, toasts and cold cuts.... it won't really matter for it's the effort that always counts.
I've always been a believer of having breakfasts in bed because of the lovely feeling it brings! Efforts count more than words. Somehow I believe I have perfected the ways on saying "I love you" without words.
I am very surprised though that this romantic act is rarely being practiced in this era perhaps because people are too busy building houses than homes. We are too busy now.... admit it! We're too engrossed on useless and senseless things...we have forgotten how it is to really love,be loved and show warmth to others. I'm very thankful that the people of Vieux Chalet (whom we now consider as family) was so gracious enough to prepare this for us so that we can show it all to you! I know that Frank and Badeth appreciated it very much as well! Best breakfast ever!
I've been really wanting to feature breakfasts in bed for the longest time now. I wanted to re-introduce this once again to our generation to hopefully make people realize that the best of dates aren't just done on posh restos but can even be achieved just at your own homes!

| the secret ingredient: love |
... or perhaps, it's this "romantic side" of me kicking in.
I don't really mind doing this over and over to the man who will choose to keep me. I really won't mind waking up a bit earlier just to prepare this for him. I look forward in doing this a lot in the future...yeah! I look forward in seeing that "look" on his face each waking day as I give him his daily dose of warm kisses. That look of awe and appreciation which equivalents to, "I'm so glad to have chosen you.I'm the luckiest man in the world!"
Have you tried this before? What did you prepare? Was there an occasion or just an ordinary day? I would really love to hear your thoughts.....

I think I know why breakfasts in bed aren't so popular anymore: one of the two needs to get up and prepare the breakfast! When it DOES happen though, it's very sweet (yes, I've experienced this before!).
